The "Cornetto" is a bread made with typical Materano durum wheat flour and is made with simple ingredients, it is rather dark on the surface, with a fairly thick crust and it keeps for several days as it is prepared with natural yeast. It is a truly special bread, whose symbolic value is given by the ritual gestures with which the ingredients were prepared, giving it that very particular shape that seems like an artistic reproduction of the Murgia of Matera.
