Fragrant honey, light in color and with a pleasant flavour, is collected in the Metaponto areas between April and May. Mixed with iced tea it is an excellent thirst quencher. Thanks to its smell and characteristic flavour, it can be perfectly combined with caciocavallo podolico, but also with fresh goat and sheep ricotta. Excellent in herbal teas.

Smell: typical of orange blossom flowers

Taste: characteristic and very pleasant

Aroma: medium intensity

Crystallization: very slow

Pairings: thanks to the smell and characteristic penetrating and fresh flavour, it is suitable for pairing with caciocavallo podolico but also with fresh goat and sheep ricotta.
