THE VÈRMUT

The first Vèrmut obtained from Primitivo Matera grapes.
Thanks to the maceration of selected botanicals typical of the Matera Murgia in rosé wine from Cantine Cifarelli's Primitivo grapes, Matè Il Vèrmut is the union between the Lucanian wine tradition and that of the great vèrmuts which have made Italian liqueur culture famous throughout the world.

The botanicals: artemisia, absinthe, burdock, juniper, rosemary, bay leaf, ginger, cloves, cassia, orange peel, lemon peel.

The production method: cold infusion of spices and botanicals in rosé wine fortified with ethyl alcohol from Italian organic wheat.

Tasting notes: On the nose, herbaceous notes of absinthe and artemisia alternate with the balsamic ones given by juniper berries and laurel seeds, Lucanian citrus fruits and exotic spices create a counterpoint of great elegance.
In the mouth the sip is full, with an excellent balance between the bitterness of the infusion and the sweetness of sugar and caramel.
Of great olfactory and gustatory persistence, Vèrmut Matè follows a centuries-old tradition, innovating it with grace and elegance.
