Denomination: “Bacche Rosa” Basilicata IGT – Rosé

Grape variety: Primitivo 100%

Alcohol content: 13% by Vol.

Age of the vineyards: 10 – 20 years

Production per hectare: 7 – 9 tons.

Production area: Southern part of the Basilicata Region

Harvest period: 10 – 25 September

Harvest method: Hand picking the grapes in the morning and transporting them to the cellar

Vinification: Crushing and destemming of the grapes, draining and separation of the free-run must after approximately 12 – 14 hours, decantation and fermentation with inoculation of selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 15° to 18° C in stainless steel tanks

Aging: In stainless steel tanks and in bottles for at least a month

Visual examination: cherry pink colour

Olfactory examination: Fruity and intense bouquet

Taste test: Fresh, soft with hints of cherry and raspberry

Pairings: Wine for the whole meal, it is recommended with appetizers, soups, risottos, fresh cheeses, white meats

Serving temperature: 10° - 12° C
